Australia, Sydney

In November our visa was approved and I pushed Victor to land in Australia to settle some administrative matters like banking, accommodation, purchasing our car etc.

Some tiny part of me wondered if he'd run away with our money and leave me stranded in Singapore.Haha. He didn't. He stayed in Kingsgrove, Sydney, with a family friend, Dusan (Romanian), and then proceeded to backpackers (YHA, Canberra)where he bunked while searching for an apartment to rent. All in all, I must say he is an efficient partner. That's us with the Sydney Opera House in the background on my first day there.

After that we toured Sydney a little more.  We went to Luna Park for the Toy Brick Fair. Well, Luna Park is nothing quite like Universal studios- nothing too crazy but good enough for little kids.  Lots of geeky stuff at the Toy Brick Fair. I think Victor enjoyed it more than I did!

After that we went back to the house to rest! Just a short 20 mins drive from the airport and the city. It is an expensive neighbourhood, but nothing spectacular to the unfamiliar eye. The hospitality of Dusan and his wife was really heart-warming. We really could not ask for anything better. FRESH FOOD every day.
